Climb On

So it’s been a while since I went climbing (besides last week). I managed to squeeze in a 2nd week in a row today. Let’s see, I did 4 climbs, and with a little nudging from my friend, did some harder climbs. 5.9, 10a, 10d, 11a. Whew, my forearms are definitely tired, but in a good way.

Climbing!

Wow, I haven’t kept up with my climbing updates since we’ve been going for the past few weeks in a row. Anyway, did 5 relatively short climbs tonight since the gym had a bunch of closed routes. 5.8, 10c, 10b, 10d, 5.9. Not too shabby though I had a little trouble on one or two.

More Climbing

I went climbing again after skipping last week and ended up doing 3 routes (5.9, 10c, 10b) and a few bouldering routes. I managed to do a really hard v1 where you have to hang under the rock a bit, so that was pretty cool.

Bouldering Fun

So last Monday I climbed with some friends of mine. I think we’re getting a bit bored of climbing only routes, so we mixed it up and climbed just 3 routes (5.9, 10c, 10a) and a handful of bouldering routes (v1s and v2s). I definitely need to work on building some more strength for bouldering.

Climb Climb

Went climbing this evening after a few weeks break. Not too bad as I did 4 climbs (5.7, 5.9, 10d, 10a). We decided to go about 30 minutes earlier and it made a big difference in terms of being able to climb any route that we wanted. It also allowed us to leave earlier and grab dinner at a leisurely pace.

Climb Climb

So I went climbing again the other day for my weekly climbing with some friends. I ended up doing only 4 routes, but they were a bit more challenging this time. 5.9, 10a, 10d (long), 10a (long).

Not bad though I was burned out and had to inch my way up the 10d since it was a bit laid back and long. It was also nice to see S drive down to climb together since we haven’t climbed together in quite some time.

More Climbing

I went climbing on Tuesday and while I didn’t do any super hard routes, I did do more routes than normal. I climbed 5 routes: 5.8, 10b, 10b, 5.9, 10b. Not too bad. Maybe next time I’ll go for more difficult routes.

Yesterday I climbed on with my friends and boy was I worn out after my 3rd climb. I ended up doing 4, but struggling on my last one. Climbed 5.7, 5.9, 10b (which was really long and felt like a 10c), then did a 10b. Whew. I need to pump me up.

Climb On!

So I went climbing last night with some friends. Not too shabby, but not my best. I ended up completing 3 routes (5.7, 10a, 10b), went 3/4 way up an 11b and did a V0 bouldering route. Maybe I should save the really hard one for not my last of the day.

Climbing Fun

I went climbing again on Tuesday and this time I completed 3 climbs (5.7, 5.9, 10c) and went about halfway up 2 of them. Not my best, but I would say one of the half-sies was an 11a. That pretty much burned me out since it was my 4th climb. Looks like I need some more muscles.
