Hooray, I ran the Run to the Far Side today without stopping. Woohoo! There were times during the 5k run where I asked myself, “Why on earth would someone wake up early on a rainy and cold Sunday morning to run?” In the end though, I pushed myself through the finish line.

Here’s to a nice long weekend.

One thing that I remember doing as a kid was brave the crowds with my family and go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I don’t remember when we stopped doing that, but in the recent years, I would normally sleep in and just laze around the house all day. With all the hustle and bustle of daily life, isn’t it great to have a day where you can sit around and do nothing?

Well, today I decided to venture out to Union Square and check out a few shops. The weather wasn’t particularly good, but there were tons of people out and about. I didn’t buy anything, but I was tempted a few times. Boy, if only I had tons of money to spend on things I didn’t need! Heehee.

Anyways, hope you all had a good day after Thanksgiving.

You know what sounds really insane? Turducken does. I would like to try one some day. Hope you all had fun gorging on food. I snacked so much on our appetizers that I didn’t really eat much dinner. Heheh.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

In response to the bail money question I had recently, a few friends of mine said that nobody really “gets” the money. It’s there so that the accused won’t try to skip town, becuase if they do, then they forfeit the bail.

Driving like a psycho-maniac sure can make a girl tired. Hehe. I decided to finally get out to a track and drive my car the way it was meant to, so people say. It was certainly fun to test the limits the vehicle. In a way, it familiarized me with how the car reacts to certain things and gives me more confidence on the road in case I have to avoid potential situations.

Conclusion of the Actifed vs. Wal-Act (generic) challenge: Both of them clear my sinuses pretty much right away and have that drowsy effect. I’d say that I give the generic medicine my endorsement for colds & allergies. Hehe.

So I glanced at the headlines and noticed that a certain pop singer has gotten himself into some trouble because of his fascination with kids. Yuck. That’s not what I wante to write about though.

I saw that he posted a hefty bail to get out of jail. He’s super-duper rich, so that money is a drop in the bucket for him, but my question is, what happens to bail money when someone posts it?

Do the police get to keep it? Man… that would help fund law enforcement so much. I’d say that the big-time offenders are usually making off with tons of other people’s money anyways, so why not give it back to the people right? Hmm.. just a passing thought.

Ah.. Wednesday. The week is half over. Woohoo!

So I ran again the other day and hooray, I made it to the 2-mile mark without feeling like I was going to pass out. I tried to pick up the pace a bit, but was sure to maintain a steady pace.

It’s beginning to look very holiday-season-ish. Shops have already put up decorations. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet! I suppose they want to jump start the holiday shopping season a bit early. Heck, since many people don’t have jobs (although it seems to be getting better), retailers must be starving for some business.

I was riding the train home the other day and there was a massive delay. Because of this, the station workers would get on the P.A. system every couple of minutes to give people an update. On one of the updates, they accidentally left it on so you could hear the conversation going on in the booth.

Unfortunately, I can’t report of any interesting conversation that went on in the booth. I just wondered how long it would take for them to notice. I mean, what if they said something scandalous? hehee. That would’ve been hilarious.
