Yay Snow

I got back a bit earlier ago from a weekend in Tahoe. Since last year was a fairly dry year, we didn’t go up on our annual trip. This year though, it was nice and we had plenty of good snow to board on. Whee!

I’d say after years of boarding, I’m not as excited about it as I was when I first started out. For me, these annual trips with my friends is more about hanging out with everyone than the actual boarding itself. Maybe next time, I’ll try some snowmobiling or sledding instead.

Climb On!

So I went climbing last night with some friends. Not too shabby, but not my best. I ended up completing 3 routes (5.7, 10a, 10b), went 3/4 way up an 11b and did a V0 bouldering route. Maybe I should save the really hard one for not my last of the day.

Textured Walls

So we decided to paint our master bedroom and boy oh boy, is it hard to paint textured walls and not leave any little unpainted spots. Sheesh. First we used the roller, and then we had to touch up the tiny spots with a smaller paintbrush so we can dab the paint in. There’s still lots of touching up to do, but overall, we’ve got the cozy feeling from our hot chocolate colored walls. Yay.

Weird Hosting…

Looks like my blog was down for a few days because of my hosting provider. Not sure what the issue was, but I’m glad everything is working again. Yay! Friday is upon us.

Climbing Fun

I went climbing again on Tuesday and this time I completed 3 climbs (5.7, 5.9, 10c) and went about halfway up 2 of them. Not my best, but I would say one of the half-sies was an 11a. That pretty much burned me out since it was my 4th climb. Looks like I need some more muscles.

Resolutions

The funny thing about a new year rolling around is that lots of people talk about resolutions. I mean, it’s a new year, so why not start it off fresh and improve those things about yourself that you’ve wanted to?

Well, for me, I figure if there’s something that I want to learn/do/improve, then why not start today?
