Sunny Days!

It’s been really great weather this weekend. Lately it seems that the sky isn’t sure if it’s winter or spring yet. Earlier this week we had such cold weather that I needed to bust out my beanie. And during this weekend, I had to wear a tanktop. Heh, at least we’re starting to get that familiar warm California weather again. Yay.

More Climbing

I went climbing again after skipping last week and ended up doing 3 routes (5.9, 10c, 10b) and a few bouldering routes. I managed to do a really hard v1 where you have to hang under the rock a bit, so that was pretty cool.

Happy Tax Day!

Hah, just kidding. It’s only happy if you’re getting money back (though it was really yours to begin with). Hope you folks have filed your taxes or will get them postmarked by tonight. Or, maybe you filed for an extension.

And to couples who got married in 2007, hope the “marriage penalty” didn’t hit you too badly. Taxes just seem to suck more for married folk because the taxes don’t seem to scale quite right. I suppose when they made the rules up a long time ago, they didn’t plan on the spouses working and making much money.

Bouldering Fun

So last Monday I climbed with some friends of mine. I think we’re getting a bit bored of climbing only routes, so we mixed it up and climbed just 3 routes (5.9, 10c, 10a) and a handful of bouldering routes (v1s and v2s). I definitely need to work on building some more strength for bouldering.

My New Favorite Potato Chips

One day while I was at Walgreens picking up some supplies for work, I decided to grab some snacks and saw a bag of Ruffles Natural Sea Salted Reduced Fat chips. I tried them out and I love ‘em. They don’t tasted reduced fatty at all and they are tasty.

Overpriced Wedding Cake Video

So I’ve stood on my soap box many times and talked about how the wedding industry overprices everything because they can sometimes. Anyway, here’s a video snippet about how true that fact is. I found it hilarious, but I’m sure some cake vendors don’t.
